OK, Christmas is approaching and it’s the same thing as every year. People back home, back in Sweden, expect me to send stuff to them. They will all visit 3 weeks after Christmas. I asked my mom if it was OK that I gave them all of their stuff then. It was out of the question, said the old Swedish mother. I did not expect something else from here. The holidays were sacred for us. Simple as that.
So, my hunt for Nordic shipping could start. The same thing every year. I mean, I’m shocked that this comes as a surprise for me every year. That I never manage to think about Nordic shipping until it’s to late. Several years before, I’ve gotten calls from my parents on December 29th. I bought a shirt for my dad. It might sound a bit boring but he is a pretty prestige less guy. You know, like people are in that cold part of the world. He likes shirt, and this one was pretty different from his others. My mom, however, got a completely new type of toaster. I know, can you imagine that they still produce new types of toasters?
